Cultural Weeks in Wackersdorf
the challenge
Fostering artistic and cultural events in small towns goes beyond entertainment—it fuels community growth, economic development, personal well-being, and the preservation of cultural heritage.
For the town of Wackersdorf, we crafted a playful and vibrant identity, reflecting its diverse arts and cultural offerings, during these special weeks. Our aim was to not only enhance the town’s unique charm but also ensure that its legacy thrives for future generations, enriching both residents’ lives and the spirit of the community.
Key concepts such as provocateur, exceptional, multi-generational, and inviting were central to shaping the new identity for the Kunst- und Kulturwochen in Wackersdorf.
This identity reflects the community’s openness to all ages, embracing an inclusive and forward-thinking approach. The visual design captures this spirit with curiosity and warmth.
A vibrant color palette, rooted in Wackersdorf’s corporate hues, energizes the artistic and cultural events—uncommon and exceptional for a small town. Bold yet simple illustrations hint at the eclectic offerings, inviting us to embrace diversity and foster empathy toward what may feel “different.”
At the end of the day, that’s what art is all about—sparking curiosity, challenging perspectives, and bringing people together through shared experiences.
